Library Policies

Books are checked out for three weeks. Each book will be stamped with a due date. If you are not finished with the book in that time frame, bring the book to the library to renew it for three additional weeks, or sign into Destiny on the SSO Portal and renew the book there on your own before the due date. Any book that is not turned in within six weeks will be marked as lost and the student’s account will be charged for the replacement of the book.

Laptop chargers and calculators are available for a one-day checkout. Students will be charged $42.00 for chargers that are not returned, and $103.00 for calculators that are not returned, whether lost, stolen, or “I let my friend borrow it, and they didn’t give it back”, etc.

The library is a “No Food Zone”.

MakerSpace

We have a variety of makerspaces and activities available in the library, in addition to the books. We have a community puzzle, games, a rotating building space, and a rotating craft space. We also have a 3D printer available for student use at the cost of $0.10 per gram for the filament. If a student uses their own compatible filament, there is no charge. Please check with Mrs. King for compatible filament options. We also have a 3D scanner, Silhouette, and button maker.

Online Databases

For access to the district-provided online databases, please sign into the SSO Portal and then click on the “Library Resources” folder on your portal.
